Rick Romancito is editor of Tempo, the arts and entertainment magazine of The Taos News, which is published each Thursday in Taos, New Mexico, USA. His film reviews appear weekly under the title “Cinemafile.” Mr. Romancito has experience as a motion picture actor, filmmaker, photojournalist, writer and fine artist. His work has appeared in publications such as US Magazine, USA Today, New Mexico Magazine, The Santa Fe New Mexican and ABQ Arts. In 2006, he won a New Mexico Governor’s Cup Award for his short screenplay “Benito’s Gift.” The award, bestowed concurrently with the National Geographic All Roads Project, allowed him to direct the production which debuted at the Santa Fe Film Festival in December 2006.
